The D11839 from Werlatone is a 16-Way E-Plane Waveguide Power Combiner that operates from 5.3 to 5.9 GHz. It can handle a CW input power of 8000 W and has an insertion loss of less than 0.15 dB. The combiner implements Werlatone’s architecture that is ideally suited for emerging high-power/high duty cycle solid-state radar requirements. An N-Way Radial Combiner design is limited in CW output power due to the diameter of the central output coaxial section (based on TEM Mode Operation), however, the E-Plane Combiner is limited only by the CW power rating of the respective waveguide size. This combining architecture can handle multiples higher in power at respective frequencies.
The combiner has a VSWR of less than 1.40:1 and a phase balance of ±5°. It measures 19.32 x 17.97 x 3.19 inches with WR159 waveguide interfaces.
