The 26WC404 from Smiths Interconnect is a Space-Qualified Hybrid Coupler that operates from 71 to 76 GHz. It can handle a CW input power of up to 100 W (1 W load fitted). This 2 x 1 hybrid coupler has an insertion loss of less than 0.4 dB and provides an isolation of more than 23 dB. It is designed for space and terrestrial environments and is qualified for environmental stress screening capability including mechanical shock, sine/random vibration, and humidity testing. The coupler is available in a module with WR-12 waveguide input and output interface and is ideal for LEO satellite downlinks and ground and airborne-based satellite uplink applications.
