The FAS Series from Ducommun are Waveguide Detectors that operate from 18 to 110 GHz. They employ high-performance GaAs Schottky beamlead diodes and a proprietary circuit design to produce high sensitivity over a broad bandwidth without an external DC bias or mechanical tuning. The detectors can handle an input power of up to +20 dBm, have sensitivity ranging from 500 to 1000 mV/mW and a video bandwidth of more than 1 MHz. They are available in modules with waveguide interfaces and SMA(F) connector for video output. The detectors offer negative output voltage polarity for various applications that require power detection or power monitoring in instrumentation, power detection and direct detection receivers.
