The ATH2G8A-1 from AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation is a High-power Horn Antenna that operates from 2.5 to 7.5 GHz. It can handle up to 12 kW of CW input power, provides a typical gain of 18 dB and has a VSWR of less than 1.8:1. The antenna provides a field intensity of up to 500 V/m which makes it suitable for RFI/EMI field testing within and beyond the confines of a shielded room. It is compact and lightweight for ease of mobility yet is tough enough for extra demanding outdoor use.
The ATH2G8A-1 measures 18.0 x 14.5 x 33.5 cm and has WRD-250 D30 waveguide interface. It is ideally suited for use with the AR model 1000T2G8B and other similar high power amplifiers. The export classification for this antenna is EAR99.
