The FDB-15-E1 from Ducommun is an Externally Biased Balanced Mixer with an RF/LO frequency from 50 to 75 GHz and an IF frequency from DC to 18 GHz. The mixer has a LO pumping power of 3 dBm and a conversion loss of 11 dB. It provides an LO to RF isolation of 20 dB and is designed for full RF waveguide band operation with extremely wide IF bandwidth. The mixer employs high-performance GaAs Schottky beam lead diodes and balanced configuration to produce superior performance. It is available in a module with SMA-female connectors at the IF port and a WR-15 waveguide with a UG385/U flange at the LO/RF port. The mixer is ideal for use in test equipment, communication systems, and EW receivers where frequency down-conversion is required.
