The SAN-06I06I-S1 from Eravant is a D-Band Inline Rotary Joint that operates from 110 to 170 GHz. It allows for mechanical rotation while providing consistently low insertion loss. This rotary joint has a high-precision bearing and propriety mechanical design to ensure smooth mechanical rotation and the panel mount design of the joint allows for easy equipment integration. With a contactless mechanical design, the rotary joint has high power handling capacity. It can handle a CW input power of up to 250 W and supports a rotating speed of 60 rpm. This joint has an insertion loss of 2.5 dB, an insertion loss variation over rotation of 0.4 dB and a phase variation over rotation of 4°.

The SAN-06I06I-S1 is available in a Gold-plated Aluminum 6061-T6, stainless steel housing that measures 63.5 (Dia.) x 50.7 (L) mm with two WR-06 rectangular waveguide interfaces (with UG-387/U-M anti-cocking flanges). It is ideal for radar systems, test equipment, sub-assemblies, antenna range and communication system applications.
