The KTE7200 from Kinetic Technologies is a 5 W Wireless Power Receiver that is compatible with WPC/Qi v1.2 standards. It includes a full-bridge synchronous rectifier comprised of four low-RDSON MOSFET switches for high-efficiency AC-to-DC power conversion. This receiver integrates a high-power, low-dropout (LDO) linear regulator that provides a stable and accurate DC output for system loads up to 0.7 A while the output voltage is 5.1 V. The LDO includes important features such as over-voltage protection (OVP), and over-current protection (OCP). It employs proprietary overvoltage protection that precisely limits the rectifier output to protect during transient events, such as when dynamically moving the receiver coil on the transmitter pad. This receiver also includes a die temperature monitor and implements fail-safe thermal shutdown during fault or excessive heat conditions.

The KTE7200 has integrated 8k ROM and 8k OTP memory and can be controlled via GPIO and I2C serial interfaces. It is available in a standard TQFN-24 package that measures 5.00 x 5.00 x 0.75 mm and is ideal for earbud cases, mice, IoT devices, accessories, personal care products, toys, battery-powered equipment and battery-free devices using only wireless power.
