The QCA9500 from Qualcomm is a multi-gigabit 802.11ad solution for mobile devices and access points (routers). Operating in the 60 GHz millimeter wave band, it provides up to 4.6 Gbps peak speed and very low latency. The chipset complies with IEEE 802.11ad specifications and WiGig requirements. It is available in a package that measures 5.17 x 3.23 x 0.344 mm.
