The QCC5121 from Qualcomm is a Bluetooth Audio SOCs based on a low power architecture. The SoC provides robust, high-quality wireless listening experiences in small devices. It is designed for compact, feature-rich wireless earbuds, headsets and portable speakers with low power consumption for longer audio playback.
This SoC supports the Bluetooth 5.0 and the Low Energy standard with a data rate of up to 2 Mbps. It has a single-ended antenna connection with on-chip balun and Tx/Rx switch. The 2.4 GHz SoC supports Qualcomm’s TrueWireless™ Stereo technology and delivers improved robustness and more evenly balanced power distribution between both earbuds, supporting longer playback time. It also supports Qualcomm aptX™ Audio, aptX HD and aptX Adaptive audio technologies to provide consistent, high-quality audio streaming over Bluetooth.
The QCC5121 has dual 120 MHz Kalimba audio DSP cores with flexible clock speed from 2 to 120 MHz. It features an integrated digital active noise cancelling (ANC) technology, which reduces the complexity, cost and space required for adding ANC to earbuds, hearables, and other portable audio devices. The audio SoC is available in a 6.5 x 6.5 x 1.0 mm BGA package.
