The SiT1623 from SiTime is a Low-Power Oscillator that operates at 9 fixed frequencies from 8 to 50 MHz. It complies with the AEC-Q100 standard and has been designed for automotive and industrial applications. This oscillator provides a LVCMOS-compatible output with a duty cycle from 45 to 55% and a phase noise of -141 dBc/Hz (@100 kHz offset). It has a frequency stability of ±50 ppm, a spurious phase noise of -85 dBc and an RMS phase jitter (random) of 0.75 ps. The oscillator has a rise/fall time of less than 2.3 ns and a start-up time of 0.7 ms.
The SiT1623 requires a DC supply of 1.5/1.8/2.5/3.3 V, consumes 1.8 mA of current in normal mode and 1 μA of current in standby mode. It is available in a surface-mount package that measures 2.0 x 1.6 mm and is ideal for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), automotive camera and sensors, smart mirrors, in-vehicle networking and SerDes, industrial sensors, and automotive infotainment system applications.
