The SiT1625 from SiTime is a Low-Jitter Oscillator that operates at 12 fixed frequencies from 8 to 100 MHz. It complies with the AEC-Q100 standard and is designed for automotive and extreme temperature applications. This oscillator is based on SiTime’s resilient and reliable silicon MEMS technology which ensures high performance in harsh conditions such as high or low temperatures, shock, and vibration. It provides an LVCMOS-compatible output with a phase noise of -143 dBc/Hz (@ 100 kHz offset) and has an RMS phase jitter of 500 fs. The oscillator requires a DC supply of 1.5/1.8/2.5/3.3 V and consumes 2.3 mA of current in normal mode and 1 μA in standby mode.

The SiT1625 has a rise/fall time of less than 2.1 ns and a start-up time of 0.7 ms. It has an operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C and provides excellent jitter performance and frequency stability over the entire temperature range for reliable ADAS performance. This oscillator is available in an industry-standard package that measures 2.5 x 2.0 mm (other dimensions also available) and is ideal for use in automotive infotainment systems, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), automotive camera and sensors, smart mirrors, in-vehicle networking and SerDes and industrial sensors.
