RFIC Design with Keysight 3DEM and RF Circuit Simulators inside Synopsys Custom Compiler

Synopsys Custom Compiler integrates Keysight RFPro EM and RF Circuit simulators to enable RFIC designs to be taped out successfully to eliminate at least one costly design turn, e.g., 80 GHz Radar Transceiver and Phased-Locked Loop chip.

This video demonstrates how EM effects are efficiently analyzed in a 28 GHz PA circuit with automatic EM-circuit co-simulation. Next the PA is stimulated with 5G NR modulated RF signals and analyzed for Error Vector Magnitude performance with Keysight instrument-grade algorithms for signal generation and analysis.

Keysight and Synopsys are collaborating on further enhancing the RFIC design flow for efficiency with AI-driven design optimizer.
