Although 5G New Radio (NR) is an exciting and fast-evolving mobile communication system, 4G is still playing an important role in mobile network infrastructures. In this environment, making 4G and 5G work together and allowing an easy migration path from 4G to 5G is a key business issue for many mobile operators. 

In this presentation, we will discuss DSS technology which is part of the 5G NR 3GPP standard enabling coexistence between LTE and NR in the same radio channel.  

During the presentation, we will discuss the different techniques that 5G NR introduces in order to simultaneously use NR and LTE. We will also cover the challenges to face from the testing perspective and how you can use some of Keysight's solutions to help with DSS testing and verification.
