Webinar Overview
If you want to design antennas that meet optimal device performance goals, then tune into this webinar. You will get a live demonstration on how to use the COMSOL Multiphysics® software and add-on RF Module to simulate antenna applications including impedance, S-parameters, and far-field and near-field calculations. You will also see how a COMSOL Multiphysics® antenna simulation can be transformed into an app. Apps are easy-to-use tools that designers without simulation expertise can use to run their own analyses.
The demonstrations and discussions featured in this webinar will be led by Edgar J. Kaiser of emPhys Physical Technology. At the end of the webinar, you can ask questions during a Q&A session.
Presenter Bios:
Andrew Strikwerda is an applications engineer in the Burlington office. Before joining COMSOL, he received his PhD in physics from Boston University, working on metamaterials and terahertz spectroscopy. He then extended his research into nonlinear spectroscopy as a postdoctoral researcher at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).
Sarah Fields is a technical marketing engineer at COMSOL with a focus on writing and producing articles and presentations about COMSOL Multiphysics® and COMSOL Server™. She holds an MS in chemical engineering from the University of Rhode Island.
Edgar J. Kaiser is the founder and owner of emPhys and holds a MSc degree in physics. He studied in Munich and Freiburg. His professional focus is on applied physics in material science and medical technology. In both fields, he specialized in electromagnetic and radio frequency applications. This is reflected by his knowledgeable focus on electromagnetic simulations in COMSOL Multiphysics.
