Webinar Overview

This presentation focuses on the simulation of Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) including lightning strikes, high-power electromagnetic pulses (EMP) and high intensity radiated fields (HIRF). Simulation is playing an increasingly important role in evaluating system performance when subjected to E3 and investigating strategies for protection. Recent developments in CST Studio Suite offer improvements in simulation efficiency and extension of capability to a wider range of E3 problems. A new approach in CST Studio for modeling radiated susceptibility using a virtual reverberation chamber model will be presented.
