Test Automation in Minutes versus Days

BenchVue Test Flow is a sequencer that allows instrument settings and measurements to be easily dragged and dropped from BenchVue “apps” (DMM, Scope, etc.) into the Test Flow workspace, bypassing instrument commands like SCPI or driver level programming. Other programming-like blocks can be added to the sequence, such as creation of variables and use of loops, if-then-else statements, math operators, and much more. Brian Wood has been with HP/Agilent/Keysight since 1973, with a few years off for “retirement”. He was a member of the design teams that created the 3060, 3065 and 3070 in-circuit test systems and the TS-54xx family of automotive functional test systems. His experience spans R&D, production engineering, application engineering and product support. He’s currently the BenchVue support manager and education lead. His hobby is amateur radio, call sign W0DZ, and he enjoys tinkering, DXing and CW operation.
