Overview:
The release of FEKO 14.0 is the first version of FEKO released under Altair HyperWorks since the acquisition of EM Software & Systems S.A. by Altair Engineering Inc. last year. In addition to discussing some changes due to this HyperWorks integration (such as licensing), the webinar will introduce new extensions to the FEKO solver and user interface. These include curvilinear wire mesh support, extension of higher order basis function modelling for FEKO’s hybrid methods, a number of finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) extensions, new GUI features with scripting and macro recording, GUI performance improvements and integration with HyperStudy.

Presenter Bio:
Ulrich Jakobus is the original author of FEKO at EM Software & Systems (EMSS). Since joining Altair last year as part of the acquisition of EMSS he is now Vice President of Electromagnetic Solutions at Altair. He obtained his PhD and Habilitation from the University of Stuttgart and has published more than 150 journal and conference papers in the field of computational electromagnetics . He was elected a Fellow of the IEEE and a Fellow of ACES (Applied Computational Electromagnetics Society) and currently serves as its vice president.
