Webinar Overview
Electromagnetic coupling is at the root of telecommunication technologies, but also at the origin of undesirable phenomena, such as electromagnetic interference. Indeed, any antenna or electronic system operate in conditions far removed from the electromagnetic insulation. Hence the need to perform electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) compliance tests. Simulation is a valuable tool here!
Performing these tests at the end of the chain, in a traditional way, on prototypes, can have unpleasant surprises, especially when one is in a very advanced phase of the development and production cycle. In this webinar, through the live build of a template and the discussion of several tutorial examples, we will see how digital simulation enables EMI / EMC conformance testing throughout the design and development cycle. This approach anticipates the electromagnetic performances of a product, and makes it possible to compare different choices of design and design at any time, with a very significant gain in terms of development time and costs.
