Webinar Overview
Sponsored by: COMSOL
Presented by: Linus Andersson, Global Technical Support, and Jennifer Segui, Sr. Technical Marketing Engineer, both of COMSOL
Abstract:
Engineers and designers often turn to multiphysics simulation for help evaluating and optimizing antenna designs for best device performance. In this presentation, we will highlight the modeling of RF applications that include near field, far field and impedance calculations using COMSOL Multiphysics®. A live demonstration will include a model of a dipole antenna where the radiation pattern is simulated. The webinar will end with a Q&A session.
Presenter Bios:
Linus Andersson received his M.Sc. degree in engineering physics at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. He joined COMSOL in 2003 after completing his diploma thesis at CERN, Switzerland. Linus specializes in electromagnetics and acoustics.
Jennifer Segui has a B.S. in computer engineering and an M.S. in medical physics, where her research focused on the design and characterization of amorphous selenium flat panel X-ray detectors for digital medical imaging. She now works for COMSOL as a senior engineer in the technical marketing group in Burlington, Mass.
