Webinar Overview

Radar warning receivers and direction finding systems are key components of early warning systems installed on board aircraft, ships or vehicles. Besides the pure analog evaluation of pulsed radar signal envelopes, such systems must also reliably detect complex I/Q-modulated signals of modern radars. Modern radars use large instantaneous bandwidths or frequency agility techniques to quickly shift the center frequency of the transmit signal.

This webinar discusses the test requirements of next generation single-channel and multichannel digital receivers and demonstrates an efficient and comprehensive test solution based on the R&S®Pulse Sequencer software in combination with the R&S®SMW200A vector signal generator.

Attendees will learn:
- How to generate broadband radar signals up to 2 GHz
- Signal generation with ultralong playtimes for realistic radar scenarios
- Testing of multichannel direction finding receivers
