Experiments with Microwave Coherence Tomography: Part 1
I in the last 10 years, imaging techniques using Optical Coher-ence Tomography have developed into a new powerful diagnostic tool for ophthalmology. To determine if the tech-nique is practical in the microwave portion of the electromagnetic spectrum, the author has developed a simple experimental setup to test microwave coherence tomography. His experi-ments suggest that a microwave application is feasible and applications such as industrial sensors may be developed.
