2G to 5G Base Station Receiver Design Simplified by Innovative Integrated Transceivers

Base station receiver design can be a daunting task. Typical receiver components such as mixers, low noise amplifiers (LNAs), and analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) have progressively improved over time. However, architectures have only changed slightly. The limitation in architectural choices have held back base station designers from differentiating their products in the marketplace. Recent product developments, particularly integrated transceivers, have significantly relaxed some of the constraints of even the most challenging base station receiver designs.
