European Microwave Week Rescheduled to January 2021

As a result of the global Covid-19 pandemic and strict measures imposed by authorities worldwide, organizers of the EuMW (European Microwave Week) have decided to reschedule the event to 10 -15 January 2021.

EuMW 2020, was originally scheduled to take place in September 2020. The event will still be held in Utrecht, Netherlands, and will be the 50th European Microwave Conference, the 15th European Microwave Integrated Circuits Conference, and the 17th European Radar Conference. The technical program and exhibition will provide an opportunity for attendees to experience the latest products, research, and initiatives in the microwave sector.

Ivar Bazzy, President of Horizon House, organizer of EuMW on behalf of EuMA said that they are working closely with the Jaarbeurs Convention Centre and partners in Utrecht in order to plan an event that offers everything people have come to expect and enjoy about EuMW and protects the health and safety of participants.

The organizers of the event are now very busy implementing all the changes for this move and believe this maximises the ability for as many people as possible to attend. The event’s Platinum sponsor, Keysight Technologies, has also expressed its support to the new date changes.

Bringing industry and academia together, European Microwave Week 2020 is a six-day event, including three cutting edge conferences, three forums, and one exciting trade and technology exhibition featuring leading players from across the globe. EuMW is organized by Horizon House on behalf of the European Microwave Association (EuMA), an international non-profit association with a scientific, educational and technical purpose.
