CML Micro Acquires PRFI, a UK-Based MMIC Design Company

CML Micro has acquired PRFI, a UK based design house specializing in the design and development of RFICs, MMICs and microwave/mm-wave modules. The company specializes in designing solutions that are used in a wide range of applications from test instrumentation to infrastructure equipment and very high volume consumer wireless devices.

Effective from December 1st 2024, PRFI is now operating as CML Micro, part of the CML Group of companies. The company’s design team, contact numbers and operating approach will be unchanged. PRFI’s existing website will remain live with its archive of white papers and articles, and new content will be posted to CML Micro’s design services portfolio.

Founded 55 years ago in the UK, CML Microcircuits is a fabless semiconductor company that designs, manufactures and markets high-performance mixed-signal, RF and millimeter-wave solutions for current and next-generation end-applications. Click here to learn more about PRFI.
