Abracon Introduces New Series of CMOS OCXOs from 10 to 48 MHz

Abracon has introduced the AOC97 Series, a line of high-precision Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillators (OCXOs) housed in a compact 9.7 x 7.5 x 3.9 mm four-pad Surface Mount Device (SMD) package. They offer tight frequency stability of ±10 parts per billion (ppb) over a broad operating temperature range of -40°C to +95°C, achieved through an SC-Cut, High “Q” resonator-based design. With a CMOS-compatible output and a 3.3 Vdc ±5% supply voltage, they support industry-standard frequencies from 10 to 48 MHz, demonstrating low long-term aging and excellent phase noise performance.

These OCXOs serve various markets, including telecommunications, military and aerospacetest and measurement, and medical equipment. They ensure accurate timing and synchronization for network equipment, provide stability for navigation and radar systems, offer precise frequency references for testing devices, and support precise timing in medical diagnostic equipment, ensuring reliable performance across diverse applications.

Benefits of AOC97 OCXOs:

  • Excellent Phase Noise
  • High Thermal Stability
  • Ultra Precise Timing
  • Minimal Aging
