Scientific Microwave Corporation Introduces Double-Ridge Pressure Windows from 0.84 to 18 GHz

Scientific Microwave Corporation has introduced a complete line of double-ridge waveguide pressure windows that can be sealed with various materials based on customer-specific requirements. These pressure windows are made of materials like Quartz, Kapton or Teflon and operate over a frequency range of 0.84 GHz to 18 GHz. They can handle up to 40 Psi of pressure and have a VSWR of less than 1.4:1. They are available in waveguide sizes of WRD840, WRD200, WRD250S, WRD250, WRD350, WRD475, WRD500, WRD580, WRD600P, WRD600, WRD650, WRD750 and WRD180.

Scientific Microwave Corporation (SMC) offers advanced state-of-the-art technical expertise for the design, development, and production of passive microwave and millimeter wave components and subsystems for military, space, and commercial applications. Sophisticated, highly efficient new design techniques are applied to various evanescent-mode ridge waveguide and planar (E or H) structures, to cover narrowband, wideband, low power, and high-power applications.
