NETA Communications Introduces Ka-Band Manpack VSAT Antenna System for Military and Civil Applications

NETA Communications, a company that specializes in the design and development of Antennas and RF products, has introduced the MFA60PACK, a new Manpack Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) Antenna system that is compatible with YAHSAT, AVANTI, and TURKSAT satellites. It offers compactness and robustness for use in satellite communications, military, and civil applications. This VSAT system transmits signals over a frequency range from 29.5 to 30 GHz and receives signals in the frequency range from 19.2 to 20.2 GHz.

This MFA60PACK has a reflector with a diameter of 67 cm. It supports LHCP/RHCP polarization and covers a continuous azimuth range with an elevation beamwidth from 5° to 80°. This Ka-band antenna terminal provides a gain of 45.1 dBi (transmit) and 41.6 dBi (receive). It includes a satellite modem, control unit, and an optional router. The VSAT System also integrates 4 RJ45 Ethernet switches that route signals to the respective components. It supports the SatFinder application on Android-OS and a GPS sensor to detect satellite signals. A separate headphone connector is provided for SatFinder buzzer.

This VSAT antenna system has a battery box that supports an AC supply of 220 V and a DC supply from 12 to 48 V (optional). This box also equips an OLED display and battery level display for enhanced features and ensures power capacity for 3 hours. The system measures 66 x 38 x 36 cm and has RJ45 Ethernet and RJ11 FXS connectors. It also has an airline checkable bag and can be hand carried by one person.
