Mini-Circuits Introduces Medium Power Amplifier with High Linearity from 16 to 21 GHz

Mini-Circuits has introduced the ZX60-16213+, a medium-power amplifier that is designed to provide a unique combination of medium output power and high output IP3 over a frequency range from 16 to 21 GHz. It supports a wide range of applications and many systems where high linearity is needed. This power amplifier delivers an output P1dB of +23 dBm with a gain of 20 dB and has a noise figure of 4.5 dB. It has a return loss of 13 dB.

Output Power vs. Frequency Graph

This medium-power amplifier is equipped with several DC protection features such as reverse voltage protection along with internal sequencing, which will protect the amplifier from turning ON without the required negative voltage supply. It operates on a single positive supply of 6 V, a single negative supply of -5 V, and consumes less than 350 mA of current. This ZX60-16213+ is available in a rugged, compact unibody casing that measures 1.20 x 0.75 x 0.46 inches with SMA connectors at both the input and output.
