Anritsu Corporation’s (Anritsu) has acquire 32.72% of SmartViser SAS. (SmartViser), a vendor of automated test solutions for mobile networks and devices. Accordingly, Anritsu entered a stock purchase agreement with SmartViser on 28 November 2024. The acquisition is anticipated to conclude upon regulatory approval and the fulfillment of all applicable conditions.
SmartViser is a vendor of automated test and monitoring solutions designed to assess the performance and functions of mobile networks and devices. These automation solutions are provided to mobile network operators and device manufacturers with the objective of optimizing and reducing test costs. In February 2024, Anritsu announced a collaborative partnership with SmartViser for test solutions supporting the regulation of energy labeling in the EU with the goal of achieving carbon neutrality. This acquisition will further strengthen Anritsu’s business partnership with SmartViser.
By leveraging the synergy between SmartViser’s test automation and efficiency technology and Anritsu’s pioneering telecommunications technology, the partnership aims to achieve a carbon-neutral and intelligent society in both the telecoms and smartphone markets as well as in other business areas, including private and mission-critical networks, automotive, and industries using communications.
