MVG, a leader in electromagnetic solutions, has launched its innovative Reverberation Chamber, designed to excel in immunity testing and applications requiring extreme field strengths from 200V/m to 7000V/m. The chamber incorporates a sophisticated paddle system that enhances performance across a broad frequency range, particularly at lower frequencies, and adheres to the IEC61000-4-21 EMC testing specification.
This chamber is ideal for EMC compliance testing in line with emissions and immunity standards for electrical and electronic products. It also supports High-Intensity Radiated Fields (HIRF) applications, conforming to MIL-STD-461 and DO160 standards, with field strengths exceeding 4000V/m when paired with suitable test systems.
The Reverberation Chamber is available in multiple models (RVC-80, RVC-200, RVC-400, RVC-1000), with each design tailored to specific Lowest Usable Frequencies (LUF) ranging from 80 MHz to 1000 MHz. These models accommodate varying equipment under test (EUT) sizes and offer flexibility in dimensions and performance options. The chamber supports a frequency range of up to 18 GHz or 40 GHz, with independently certified shielding performance of 100 dB @ 18 GHz.
MVG’s modular and bespoke design approach allows for extensive customization, ensuring that the chamber can be upgraded or relocated as needed. Optional features, including test benches, antennas, and mounting systems, further enhance its utility. The chamber is also available as part of a comprehensive turnkey package, simplifying the process for organizations conducting EMC measurements.
