Abracon has introduced ABCM-51, a GPS Disciplined Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillator (OCXO) that is designed to act as a crucial component in systems where precise and reliable timing is critical. This design is achieved by leveraging the strengths of both GPS technology and high-quality crystal oscillators.
This clock module uses a 1PPS signal from GPS satellites to discipline and correct the frequency of an OCXO at 10 MHz. This results in an extremely accurate and stable timing signal to support applications such as telecommunications, broadcasting, data centers, network infrastructure, industrial control, navigation, instrumentation, financial trading, and power distribution.
