Microchip to Showcase their RF / Microwave Frequency Control Products at IMS 2019

This year at IMS 2019, Microchip will be showcasing their RF, microwave, millimeter wave and frequency control products at their booth. The IEEE MTT IMS 2019 event will take place in Boston from 4-6 June and will bring together the leading companies in the RF, Microwave and Millimeter sector under one roof.

Here is the list of what Microchip will be showcasing at their IMS 2019 Booth:

Low-Phase Noise Voltage Controlled SAW Oscillators: Visitors can learn about Microchip’s best-in-class low-phase noise Voltage Controlled SAW Oscillators (VCSO). The high performing VCSO achieves 160 dBc/Hz at 10 KHz offset at 600 MHz, while our smallest VCSO is available in an ultra-small 5 mm × 3.2 mm × 1.8 mm package and achieves -125 dBc/Hz at 10 KHz offset at 1.568 GHz. High-Linearity Wideband MMICs: The new wideband, high-linearity Power Amplifier MMIC is ideal for test and measurement and wideband military applications from 30 kHz to 24 GHz. This MMIC is packaged in a 4.5 mm QFN SMT package with >35 dBm OIP3 and over 14 dB of gain. Click here to learn more.

Frequency Control Products: Learn about Microchip’s extensive portfolio of frequency control products that includes automotive MEMS oscillators, Vectron quartz-based oscillators and SAW filters, the Chip Scale Atomic Clock (CSAC) and other atomic references for high-precision synchronization and syntonization, for use in automotive, military, commercial and industrial applications.

Space-Qualified, Crystal-Controlled Hybrid Clock Oscillators: Microchip’s space-qualified crystal-controlled hybrid clock oscillators are radiation tolerant to 300 krad (Total Ionized Dose). The parts are designed for multiple exo-atmospheric applications, from low Earth orbit to deep space. All oscillators utilize swept quartz to minimize frequency shifts due to ionizing radiation and other high-energy particles and carefully selected active components to minimize single-event upset occurrences. Global Navigation Satellite Systems Disciplined Oscillators (GNSSDO): The Global Navigation Satellite System Discipline Oscillators (GNSSDO) include on-board Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillators (OCXOs) and embedded receivers, capable of synchronizing to GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, or a customer-provided stable time source. During loss of input signal events (GNSS denial) Vectron’s GNSSDO provide phase accuracy holdover 1.5 µs for 24 hours. In addition to the holdover capabilities, the on-board oscillators improve upon the short-term stability of the embedded receiver to provide systems with a wander-free reference.
