Vaunix to Showcase New Portable & Custom RF Test Systems at IMS 2019

At the IMS 2019 event in Boston from 4-6 June, Vaunix will be showcasing its extensive portfolio portable and programmable RF/microwave test instruments. Vaunix’s hand-held or mountable devices called Lab Bricks are easily programmed via a USB connection to a PC. The lineup now includes digital signal generators offering wider bandwidths up to 40 GHz, standard RF step attenuators to 20 GHz offering an ultra-fine 0.1 Hz step size, high speed SPDT and SP4T switches up to 6 GHz, and digital phase shifters to 12 GHz offering excellent phase accuracy and 1° phase resolution.

The Lab Bricks can be customized to operate at various bandwidths and have and fully integrated, built-to-spec modules and rack mount systems for instant installation into wireless network test systems and RF/microwave automated test equipment (ATE) stands. Recent custom developments include a 200 MHz to 8 GHz attenuator matrix in a 19” rack mount chassis, multi-channel phase synchronous synthesizers, and hybrid power splitter/digital attenuator modules.

Vaunix also develops tailored signal generators and synthesizers that support the unique needs of radar and location system applications. These high-performance units can provide a dependable calibrated power control range of 80 dB with a100 Hz frequency setting resolution. They also offer low harmonic energy and are easily programmed for fixed frequency operation, unidirectional or bidirectional linear frequency sweep (at rates up to 20 MHz per μs), and can be internally or externally triggered for pulse or chirp modulation. In addition to USB connections, a variety of Vaunix instruments and systems are also available with Ethernet connectivity as an option.

The Vaunix application engineering team will be available at Booth #1278 during IMS 2019 in Boston from 4-6 June to provide more info on their products.
