IMS 2020 is Now Open for Paper Submissions!

The 2020 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium (IMS2020) is set to take place from 21 to 26 June 2020 in Los Angeles, CA, USA. The event will be the centerpiece of the Microwave Week, offering technical sessions, interactive forums, plenary and panel sessions, workshops, short courses, microwave application (MicroApps) seminars, industry workshops, and exhibits.

IEEE MTT-S has announced the call for submission of papers and proposals to be presented at the event.

Proposal Submission Deadline for Workshops and Short Courses, Focus and Special Sessions, Panel and Rump Sessions are Due Wednesday, 25 September 2019

Topics being considered for these areas include, but are not limited to, next-generation wireless systems (5G and beyond), emerging RF/microwave applications, latest technologies for RF/microwave measurements, and advances in RFIC technology. Interested participants can consult IEEE-MTTS for a more detailed list of desired topics and instructions on how to prepare a proposal.  Proposals must be submitted by 25 September 2019.

MicroApps and Industry Workshops Submission Deadline Date: Thursday, 5 December 2019

In addition to Workshops and Short Courses, Focus and Special Sessions, Panel and Rump Sessions, IMS2020 will offer two ways for exhibitors to present practical “nuts and bolts” solutions to attendees at no charge. The MicroApps (Microwave Applications) presentations and the Industry Workshops are designed to be opportunities for exhibiting companies to make presentations to attendees in theater and meeting room’s settings. This is an opportunity to educate your existing and potential customers and raise your visibility at IMS. Submission is simple so act now since the Submissions must be received by 5 December 2019.

Industry Workshops provide IMS exhibitors a unique opportunity to present in-depth technical topics, via two-hour sessions, in a meeting room off the exhibit floor, free of charge. IMS2020 exhibitors are invited to submit abstracts for Industry Workshops describing state-of-the-art products and processes of interest to the microwave community. Abstract submission will be considered for oral presentation, as well as electronic distribution, to IMS attendees.

Exhibitors are also encouraged to submit proposals for 15-minute technical presentations in the Microwave Applications (MicroApps) Theater on the exhibit floor. The deadline to submit abstracts for the Industry Workshops and MicroApps Presentations is 5 December 2019.
