EuMW 2020, one of Europe’s premier events for the RF/Microwave, Wireless and Radar industry, announced that soo fat the event is scheduled to take place as planned from 13-18 September, 2020 in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
In lieu of the global pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus outbreak and related measures imposed by the respective authorities, EuMW organizers are adapting the scheduling of the EuMW Technical Program and planning meetings in an effort to enable all members to participate in the conference paper selection. The selection of papers will take place this month, with notifications to speakers going out on schedule in April.
According to Frank van den Bogaart, President of EuMA, EuMW 2020 participants and technical co-sponsors should know that preparations are on track, and the organizers expect and trust that they will run the full conference and exhibition as planned. The program, exhibition, and venue promise to deliver a fantastic event in a historical city.

European Microwave Week 2020 takes place in the historic city of Utrecht. Bringing industry and academia together, it will be a six-day event, including three cutting edge conferences, three forums, and one exciting trade and technology exhibition featuring leading players from across the globe. The event provides access to the very latest products, research, and initiatives in the microwave sector. It also offers the opportunity for face-to-face interaction with those driving the future of microwave technology.
And though there are a few events which have been held on schedule, most of the industry events have been cancelled or postponed to new dates in lieu of the safety concerns of the visitors or government regulation. However, this event is still sometime away and we all are hoping this crisis will be resolved before then.
