AD/ADAS research and development aims to prevent traffic accidents and ensure safe and comfortable travel. ADAS monitors conditions outside the vehicle using a range of sensors, including in-vehicle cameras and millimeter-wave radar, and assists the driver in a wide range of driving operations, such as collision warning, automatic braking, and parking assist. In AD/ADAS, the vehicle's surrounding environment is recognized using in-vehicle sensors including radar, Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR), and cameras. Then, the recognized data is linked to the vehicle's automatic control. Therefore, in-vehicle sensors play an important role in the advancement of AD/ADAS.
