7/16 DIN Connectors operates up to 7.5 GHz and are designed for applications in the telecommunications industry. They were developed by SPINNER GmbH in the 1960s and is standardized according to IEC 60169-4. 7/16 DIN Connectors are ideal for broadcast and cellular base station antennas. They provide high power handling, low insertion, low return loss and good connection repeatability. The name 7/16 tells us the standardized values of the diameter of the center conductor (7 mm) and the internal diameter of the outer conductor (16 mm). These 50 ohm waterproof connectors are suitable for operation in extreme climatic conditions.
