A dual junction isolator is consists of two regular isolators connected back to back (in series) in a single package. Since the RF signal has to go through two isolation paths, dual junction isolators provide greater isolation. The trade-off here would be that these isolators have a higher insertion loss and are larger in size compared to single junction isolators.
