MCX Connectors are RF coaxial connectors with a Snap-On coupling mechanism that operate from DC to 6 GHz. These connectors are standardized according to IEC 61169-36 and CECC 22220 standards. They are compatible with SMB connectors, however, have 30% smaller body size in comparison to SMB connectors. MCX connectors are ideal for applications such as mobile and fixed telecommunications, GPS, Automotive, Handheld devices, and Data Telemetry.

Key Specifications of MCX Connectors:

  • Impedance: 50 & 75 Ohm
  • Interface standards: IEC 61169-36, CECC 22220
  • Frequency Range: DC to 6 GHz
  • RF Leakage: Over 70 dB @ DC to 1 GHz
  • Dielectric Withstanding Voltage: 1000 Volts
  • Coupling Mechanism: Snap-on coupling
  • Dielectric: PTFE
  • Mating Cycles: More than 500
