RFDKIT-01: Energy Harvesting Development Kit
This kit is intended for energy harvesting developers and hobbyists. The kit contains parts to explore wireless energy harvesting. Users can connect to the modules using included 4-pin headers with a little soldering and clipping.
The development kit includes:

- RFD103A AC−DC Converter Module.
- RFD88A Energy Harvesting Engine Module.
- RFD102A−TB Evaluation Board for the RFD102A w/ test data at 915 MHz/0 dBm.
RFD102A-DET: Microwave Detector
This detector receives wireless energy at 2.5 GHz and converts the signal to a DC voltage which powers an LED. Place the detector on a microwave window or near any wireless LAN router and the LED will brighten and fade as the wireless field changes. It doesn’t require batteries for operation.
RFD199A-PCB RF-DC Converter w/ 4.2V-5.3V Output. Pulsed/CW. 50mA max
- It is a compact energy harvesting system that converts RF/microwave signals to 4.2 V - 5.3 VDC for mobile phones and other charging applications.
- Converts 10 MHz to 2.5 GHz signals to a regulated DC output voltage that may be pulsed in low power conditions or continuous in high power conditions.
- The design consists of an RF-DC converter and a power management system that switches the DC output on when the internal voltage of the RF−DC converter and storage capacitor reaches 5.3 V.
- The DC output switches off when the RF−DC converter voltage and storage capacitor voltage falls below 4.2 V.
- When connected to an antenna, the module can extract power from wireless sources and produce an intermittent or continuous DC output voltage depending upon how much power is available.
