MITEQ has been selected by Northrop’s Electronic Systems sector to supply critical radio frequency components for the JPSS - Joint Polar Satellite System, which will then be integrated into Northrop’s ATMS - Advanced Technology Microwave Sounder instrument.
The JPSS-1 is a multi-million dollar project which is the next generation of satellites and will be managed by NOAA with NASA as the JPSS program's procurement agency. It supplies high quality observational data, which is needed to sustain the current and future weather forecasting capability in the United States. MITEQ's has a thirty year legacy of supplying space qualified Radio Frequency components and will continue to do so through this project.
