SIGLENT, a manufacturer of electronic test and measurement instruments, has recently launched a new series of real-time spectrum analyzers that operate from 9 kHz to 7.5 GHz. The SSA3000X-R real-time spectrum analyzers are powerful and flexible tools that solve modern RF spectrum challenges like hopping frequency, conflict channel, and spectrum interference. Additionally, all of the SSA3000X-R series real-time spectrum analyzers have VNA capability built-in to the device at no additional charge. With integrated Vector Network Analyzers, these analyzers have the ability to perform S11 and S21 measurements on RF components and circuits. The data can be graphed in a number of common formats, including Smith and polar charts.
The SSA3000X-R Real-time Analyzers are available in three frequency options:
Few Salient Features of the SSA3000X-R Series:
-165 dBm/Hz Displayed Average Noise Level (Typ.)
- -98 dBc/Hz.@10 kHz Offset Phase Noise (1 GHz, Typ.)
- Level Measurement Uncertainty < 0.7 dB (Typ.)
- Up to 40 MHz Real-Time Analysis Bandwidth Option
- Minimum Signal Duration with 100% POI, 7.2 us
- Web Browser Remote Control on PC and Mobile Terminals and File Operation
- RTSA mode: Analyze elusive signals in real-time.
- SA mode: Perform as a normal spectrum analyzer - reflection and advanced measurements.
- EMI Receiver Mode: Newly added EMI receiver Mode to perform EMI-pre compliance tests.
SIGLENT has also announced the addition of the SSA3015X Plus spectrum analyzer with a frequency range from 9 kHz up to 1.5 GHz to their SSA3000X Plus Series. This analyzer offers excellent RF performance, and features a 10.1-inch multi-touch screen, external mouse and keyboard operation. Connection to PC is possible via LAN or USB interface. Free EasySpecturm software and Web Control support control of the unit, send SCPI commands, save files, and screenshots.
