Keysight Technologies has become a member of the Korea 5G Forum, a collaborative development environment for next–generation 5G wireless communication. The Korea 5G Forum was founded by the Ministry of Science, ICT (information and communications technology) and Future Planning (MSIP) to lead the development of 5G mobile wireless communications and to commercialize 5G technology. The forum cooperates internationally on standardization, research and development, and in creating an ecosystem for the next generation of wireless communications.
Global 5G technology development is a catalyst for meeting the explosive growth in mobile internet access. The South Korea ministry created the 5G Forum in cooperation with telecommunications companies, semiconductor companies, academia, and research institutes. Keysight will actively participate and collaborate with the 5G Forum to establish development strategies for the future of mobile telecommunications alongside industry and academic professionals.
