Rosenberger, a manufacturer of high-quality cable assemblies for a wide variety of industrial test & measurement applications has introduced microwave cable assemblies for vector network analyzers (VNA). These cables offer excellent electrical and mechanical performance for frequencies up to 110 GHz.
The standard cable assemblies range covers ultra-low loss and high-phase stable variants for 18 GHz, 26.5 GHz, 40 GHz, 50 GHz, and 70 GHz. These ultra-low loss cables are ideal for antennas, test & measurement, and applications with high power requirements such as miniature cables for test systems. Customer-specific assemblies and solutions can be ordered on request.
The product portfolio of microwave cable assemblies are as follows:
- VNA test cables for metrology grade performance.
- Cables: RTK 081, RTK 092-70, RTK 106, RTK 125 and RTK 162.
- Connectors: SMA, RPC-N, RPC-3.50, RPC-2.92, RPC-2.40, RPC-1.85, RPC-1.35, RPC-1.00.
- T3 Armour (armored spring with strengthening net, anti-twist layer, and PTFE wire jacket over the raw cable).
- Custom-specific variants on request.
Key features of microwave cable assemblies are as follows:
- Impedance 50 Ohms
- Frequency range from DC to 110 GHz
- Mating cycles of over 500
- With or without armoring
- Power handling up to 600 W @10 GHz (depending on cable and connector type)
- Crush resistance with armor 80 N/mm (cable only)
- Excellent phase and amplitude stability
- The high number of mating cycles
- High electrical and mechanical stability
These cable assemblies have short delivery times (for standard versions 2 weeks). Click here to learn more about Rosenberger’s cable assemblies.
