CTS to Showcase EMI/RFI Filters at the electronica 2014

CTSCTS Corporation, through its subsidiary, CTS Electronic Component and its business unit CTS Tusonix, has announced the newest addition to its line of EMI/RFI filters - The 4310 and 4311 series – Subminiature press-in capacitor filters. The products are ideal for high-speed communication systems including microwave applications and thus will be showcased at the Electronica 2014 in Messe München, Germany at Hall B5 Booth 355.

The 4310 series subminiature press-in filter is an excellent benefit for applications that have space constraints. Its 2.16 mm hole size supports more than 2.5 mm pitch with ease - delivering 1.5x higher linear density than standard feed-through capacitor filters.  The 4311 product family is the optimal feed-through capacitor solution for hermetically sealed applications. It utilizes a corning 9010 or equivalent electrical grade compression glass and gold finish 100 micro inches thickness over 200 micro inches nickel under plate, for superior durability. The filter is less than 3mm in depth and its diameter of 2.08mm allows a perfect fit into a 2.5 pitch.  The challenges which are faced to meet electromagnetic interference requirements in next generation designs, are made easier by CTS through these new subminiature capacitor filters.

Other key features of the 4310 & 4311 series include:

  • Support working voltages up to 150 VDC
  • 25dB Suppression at 100 MHz and above
  • 40dB Suppression at 1 GHz and above
  • 50dB Suppression at 1 GHz and above
  • Fully RoHs compliant
