Z-COMM Introduces C-Band Coaxial Resonator VCO with Excellent Phase Noise

Z-COMM Introduces C-Band Coaxial Resonator VCO with Excellent Phase Noise

Z-Communications has introduced an RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) that operates over the range of 4087 to 4088 MHz within a tuning voltage of 0.5 to 4.5 Vdc. The CRO4087B-LF C-band oscillator features a spectrally clean signal of -108 dBc/Hz @ 10kHz offset while operating off an 8 Vdc supply and drawing 25 mA of current.

The high-performance CRO4087B-LF is designed to deliver +3.5 dBm of output power into a 50-ohm load and tunes over the frequency band with an average tuning sensitivity of 8 MHz/V. This low noise VCO operates over the industrial temperature range from -40 to 85ºC and features a typical second harmonic suppression of -15 dBc. The CRO4087B-LF is available in Z-COMM’s industry-standard MINI-16-SM package measuring 0.5 in. x 0.5 in. x 0.22 in. and is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements making it ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.

The unmatched CRO4087B-LF from Z-COMM is well suited for satellite communication and test equipment applications that require low phase noise performance. Click here for more information on this product.
