In a recent interview with Microwave Journal, Qorvo™ CEO Bob Bruggeworth provided insight into the proposed merger between RFMD and TriQuint. He detailed the developments leading up to the announcement of the proposed merger, as well as the impact on the key industries that will be served by Qorvo — network infrastructure, defense and aerospace, and mobile devices.
Additionally, Bruggeworth highlighted the technologies and strengths each company brings to the table. "By combining our rich and complementary suite of technologies, products and capabilities, we believe Qorvo will set the standard for our customers in product performance, integration and speed to market. That's what our customers want. And that's why we are so excited about our proposed merger."
