M/A-COM has announced two high power, high linearity PIN diode switches that operate in the 50 MHz to 1 GHz frequency range. The MASW-011040 and MASW-011041 switches are designed for Military and Civilian customers who require higher CW and pulsed power operation for land mobile radio applications.
These devices operate from 50 MHz to 1 GHz and are capable of handling 200 Watts CW incident power at a base plate temperature of 85⁰C. Both devices deliver more than 40 dB isolation at 1 GHz with insertion loss of less than 0.5 dB and are compatible with MACOM’s MADR-010574 PIN Diode Driver. They are available in a single 9 mm HQFN 20-lead plastic package.
The MASW-011040 and MASW-011041 are manufactured using MACOM’s hybrid manufacturing process featuring high voltage PIN diodes and passive devices and are a high power switch ideal for use on land mobile radio and MIL-COM applications that require higher power.
