ViaLite customers were positioned in the first eight places in the World Teleport Association’s (WTA) global top 20 teleport operators list ranked by revenue. Other ranking lists compiled by the WTA this year are the Independent Top 10, where ViaLite was a supplier to the three leading independent companies, and the Fast 10 fastest-growing operators, where ViaLite supplied four out of the ten companies. These results show that ViaLite being even more prominent in the teleport industry than last year across all three categories.
The WTA has also drawn up the annual rankings of companies by revenue and revenue growth by surveying teleport operators around the world as well as referencing the published results of publicly held companies. “These latest rankings show more top teleport operators than ever are appreciating the advantages of ViaLite’s RF over fiber technology,” commented ViaLite Director of Sales, Richard Jacklin.
The explosive growth of high throughput satellite (HTS) capacity and the consequent demand for extremely high data rate links is the prime reason for teleport operators increasingly choosing ViaLite’s wide dynamic range interfacility links. The WTA is dedicated to advocating the interests of teleport operators in the global telecommunications market and promoting excellence in teleport business practice, technology, and operations.
