TAIYO YUDEN announced their new wireless communications module, EYSPBNZUA. This module measures 10.0 x 15.4 x 2.0 mm and is compatible with Core Specification version 5.2, which is the latest version of Bluetooth® 5.
The module has an operating temperature range from -40 to +105°C, which is an increase of 20°C in the maximum operating temperature than their existing products which have a maximum operating temperature of +85°C. It has 128 kB of RAM and supports USB/UART/SPI/I2C/I2S/PDM interfaces. This wireless communication module is certified to be used in Japan, USA, and Canada.
The EYSPBNZUA is most suitable for IoT-related devices such as sensor nodes placed in factories or outdoors, as well as office or home-automation related devices such as LED lighting fixtures.
Mass production of the product will commence in August 2020, with a sample price of 3,000 yen per module.
